In the municipal primary school Goce Delcev, Konce, 282 students are included in the teaching process (204 Macedonian and 78 Turkish students).
The school is multiethnic. The teaching process from the 1st to 5th grade is carried out in Macedonian and Turkish language, whereas the subject teaching is carried out in Macedonian language.
The students are included in several extra-curricular activities. Teachers work with students through several sections: section for foreign languages, section of young physicists and chemists, geographical section, historical section, section of young biologists, mathematical section, literature section, art section and drama section. Within the school there are active teams in handball, basketball, football as well as the school choir and orchestra.
Through the application of intercultural activities (of extracurricular character), the school improves the quality of teaching and interethnic relations. With the support of the Nansen Dialogue Center Skopje which began in 2012 through training of teachers for integrated and intercultural education, the school successfully conducts intercultural activities and builds positive relations in the wider community through integrated education.
School staff is particularly interested in promoting mutual cooperation among students, respecting the differences between students from the Macedonian and Turkish ethnic communities, friendship and tolerance, involving parents in various activities and fostering support for their mutual cooperation.
